Ingredients:
Unbleached flour, unsalted butter, eggs, granulated sugar, dark chocolate, water, half & half, cocoa powder, yeast, and sea salt.
CINNAMON

Unbleached flour, unsalted butter, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, water, half & half, cinnamon, yeast, and sea salt.
STORAGE & THAWING
​
Store at room temp, in an airtight bag or container for 2 days. If for some crazy reason, you will not eat it in 2 days ( it never lasts more than 1 day in our house), then freeze it in a sealed bag wrapped in plastic. When ready to eat, take out and thaw 2 hours at room temp, prior to enjoying!
THE PROCESS

The entire process takes about a day. It starts with brioche-like dough. Then rests in the fridge for a half day. Then rolled out, jelly-roll style, and filled. It is then cut and braided. Proofing time is 2 hours. It is then baked and drizzled with simple syrup. Each one is unique and never comes out looking the same. It's totally worth the time and calories from the butter! It's always a treat.
